Hello everyone, our lab is starting a new project that requires a lot of ELISA kits, and I'm tasked with finding a good supplier. We've had some mixed experiences with our previous suppliers, with issues ranging from poor reproducibility to long shipping times and inadequate customer support. It’s becoming increasingly important to find sources that provide reliable kits consistently and without breaking the bank. Has anyone had particularly good or bad experiences with specific ELISA kit suppliers? What factors do you consider most important when selecting a supplier, besides price?

Finding reliable ELISA kits can definitely be a pain! For my lab, we've been using kits from https://gentaur.co.uk/ for a couple of years now, ever since our old supplier gave us consistently bad results. We primarily use their kits for cytokine detection, and they have worked well so far, with good sensitivity and reproducibility overall. What I like most is the level of detail the provide in their product specifications. Plus, I was able to get a bulk discount which helped the budget quite a bit. Give their offerings a look, and don’t hesitate to contact their customer support for specific inquiries – they've been responsive whenever I had questions. Hope this helps point you in a helpful direction!
